Xmas Adventures !

Doc Claus image by Teel James Glenn.

Over my years writing, I’ve written a lot of different heroes and villains, in places both distant in the past and future, and from one end of the galaxy to the other. But during the holidays, I can think of no better destination for storytelling than the North Pole.

I’ve written two stories set in the home of Santa Claus. Two wild and insane adventures that feature robots, giant monsters, dimensional rifts and a whole lot more. I’ve never been one to hide these fun little stories away, which is why both are available at Medium.

The first “Claus vs. Kong” is one of my oldest stories still available to read. Written in the early aughts, it predates pretty much everything else I’ve published by at least a couple years. It’s a simple tale, but one that I think lives up to that title quite well.

The more recent tale is called “The Phantom Krampus.” Built upon an adventure hero version of Saint Nick I created many years ago that goes by the nickname Doc. Along with an entire group of holiday heroes, he spends eleven months of the year as a globetrotting adventurer, righting wrongs and stopping nefarious villains. And while several writers told their own Doc stories, I finally delved into the character in this decidedly different tale that also features a special guest cameo!

Both can be read at Medium and if you enjoy them, be sure to leave your thoughts as a comment on the story!

I hope everyone reading has a Happy Christmas, a joyous Kwanzaa and wonderful New Year!
